// Redevelopment At RRHA
Since its inception, The Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority has played a significant role in the redevelopment and economic development efforts in the Roanoke area. In fact, RRHA is one of the largest landowners in downtown Roanoke.
Through its Community Development efforts, RRHA is responsible for redevelopment and conservation plans that will eliminate blight and/or improve the community through:
- Residential and commercial rehabilitation programs
- New construction
- Homeownership programs and counseling
- Bond financing
- Real estate acquisitions for the City and
- Neighborhood revitalization
